Wow. Reading this book after Obsidian and Onyx really gives great insight into why Daemon treated Katy the way he did, and also really surprised me by how much Daemon's life with Katy mirrors what happened between Bethany and Dawson. Gave me some things to ponder, and I liked that very much. And even with knowing how Onyx ends, this story was still so beautiful and sad, not just because of what happens to Bethany and Dawson, but the glimpses of Adam tugged at my heart. I'm curious and apprehensive about what this author might do to Daemon and Katy in future books, J. Armentrout is not afraid to take her characters to extreme places. Enjoyed this book very much.
