Really a 3.5 for me. Jennifer L. Armentrout has a way about her writing that just sucks you into the story to the point that you aren't thinking about anything else, and that's truly wonderful. There's a lot of world-building going on in this book, which slows the pace a bit, but that was not noticable at all in the second half of the book. The second half was everything I've come to expect from JLA, great action, good pacing and gut-wrenching scenes that keep you turning the page as you are wiping your eyes. The Greek Mythology theme is not anything new, but there is something about Alex and Aiden that made it interesting. I loved Alex recklessness, her mouthy attitude and her overall kick-ass persona. Even though she can annoy, there is definite character there. Can't wait to see it come out over the series. Looking forward to the next book in the series!
